Shasisould Geography Be Studied as a Core Subject

Welcome to the Home of the Accra Academy Geography Club. This club is found in Accra Academy Ghana. (www.accraacademy.com ). The aims of the club are outlined as follows.

• To improve the study of geography as a subject in the school
• To help the students understand the concept of Geography
• Finaly to expose the students to the real fact that geography is the actual key to life.

Geog Club Plans Excursion to Akosombo Dam

Executives of the Accra Academy Geography Club are Currently Planning An excursion to the Akosombo Dam. Necessary documents have been circulated and the executives are currently waiting for the approval of the school authorities. The excursion is scheduled for 23rd of November 2002. Members would be informed of the necessary details when Aproval is finally granted.

Member Reports Due For Next Update

In the next update of this site, we hope to include reports written by members of the club. Online members would also enjoy this privilage. So start getting your research cups on cause the 5 best reports would be posted on the home page in the next update.

The Accra Academy Geography Club orgarnised an excursion to the Kakum national Park, shortly before the former executives left.

It was a very cool Excursion where students had the chance to walk over the canopies, and even take pictures. The Kakum National Park is A game reserve in Ghana with 7 canopies installed in it. It is also a house for varios forms of wildlife.

Geog Club Releases Plan Of Action

The Accra Academy geog club has submitted the plan of action for this term to Mrs. Agyeman.
